Meet the maker

Amnibax Jewellery takes inspiration from the rural Scottish Borderlands Megan calls home, and sources all materials from UK based suppliers.

Megan's journey in the world of fine jewellery began five years ago, in retail jewellery sales. It was after a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis, that wax-carving became integral to Megan's work. Learn more about our story here.

From wax to metal

Lost wax casting is an ancient method of making jewellery - so ancient, that it was considered an old method of creating jewellery by the people who built the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Each piece is meticulously made from wax, before being cast in recycled Sterling silver, or responsibly sourced gold, using traditional techniques. The original wax model is lost to the casting process, meaning that each piece from Amnibax jewellery truly is one of a kind. A little piece of the Scottish Borders to carry with you.

Sustainability

All of our pieces are made from solid, recycled precious metal. Our silver used to be X-Ray sheets! We source all the materials we use, from the wax we carve from to the gemstones we set, from UK based suppliers.

Commissions

We are able to accept a limited amount of commission work. If you have a piece you're dreaming of, please click here to learn more and explore previous commission pieces.

Returns

We want you to love your new piece, and expect you will! However, if something isn't quite right, we accept returns of pieces in the same condition they arrived in, within 30 days of purchase. Please note, we cannot offer returns on custom pieces.

Shipping

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Due to the slow, made-to-order nature of our jewellery, production times can vary between 2-6 weeks. Delivery times vary depending on your location. All pieces are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, so you can track our item all the way to your door.

Manufacturing

We source all of our materials from UK based suppliers, and we use recycled precious metal. Megan is the sole designer, stone-setter, PR person and head of making tea, so she will work closely with you from the moment your order is placed, until the piece arrives. We pride ourselves on slow, sustainable manufacturing, and are very much the opposite of "fast" jewellery.

Stockists + Events

We work with a very limited selection of stockists, to maintain our slow and mindful production. We take part in a select amount of events each year - please click here to learn more.
